Kierna was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, ad graduated from the University of Arizona with her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in 2016. While at the University of Arizona, Kierna had her first real taste of directing when she was given a small opportunity to movement direct an original piece created by a classmate. The piece went on to premiere at the Istropolitana Projekt in Bratislava, Slovakia, and Kierna was electrified at where a story had taken her. Although her first taste of direction happened in college, Kierna has always been a leader and a creator. Since childhood, Kierna filled her days with sewing, drawing, painting, writing, performing, and ordering others around (her favorite part). Kierna hopes that her story is familiar to you, because finding a story which feels familiar means we are a little less alone.
Kierna currently lives in Harlem, NY with her life partner Chris and their Scottish Fold, Mochi.
Josh was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He comes from a big family with 8 siblings, so there is never a dull moment when he's home. He knew he loved performing and making things from a young age. In high school, he started in theatre and was drawn to creation and innovation. Upon graduating high school, Josh was admitted into the BFA Acting program at the University of Arizona and then transferred into the BFA Musical Theatre program after his first year. In addition to his BFA, he also has a minor in Modern with the UA School of Dance. Over summer breaks, he has trained with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Gus Giordano Dance School, and Artifact Dance Project in Tucson, AZ. Most recently, he was an intern with of bones || hollye bynum in Brooklyn, NY.
Staying true to his passion for innovation and creation, he is always seeking opportunity for independent, original work.
Alexandra was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with an innate passion for movement. Whether running loose through her neighborhood, playing sports, or dancing, the functional mechanics and expression of the body always captured her imagination. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance. Her studies have taken her across the US and overseas, where she has performed works by Larry Keigwin, Ohad Nahirin, Kate Weare, Alex Ketley, Sam Watson, Amy Ernst, and Doug Nielsen. Since graduation, Alexandra has freelanced as a dance artist based in New York City collaborating with artists including Emily Schoen, Doug Gillespie, and B.S. Movement as well as performing at The MUNY theatre in St. Louis in their production of Tarzan. She is currently extending her application and knowledge of the body by earning a comprehensive Pilates certification.
